Qatar Fertiliser Company (QAFCO) is a joint venture between the Government of Qatar and foreign shareholders. Their products include Ammonia, Melamine, Urea, and Urea formaldehyde. They are among the top producers of Ammonia and Urea. Their goal is to strive for greener earth that aligns with CODA’s mission.
QAFCO has recently awarded a project to Coda technology solution private Limited to cleanse the existing Material Master data and enrich them with the help of Prosol.
QAFCO produces around 3.8 million MT of ammonia and 5.6 million MT of urea. They have four granular urea plants with a combined design capacity of 12,900 Metric Tons Per Day (MTPD).
CODASOL’s involvement in this project will include the standardization segregation, Cataloging, and creation of Material/Service/Vendor & Customer master by reviewing and uploading the master data to the SAP S/4 HANA system for QAFCO to access. It also includes providing codes for new materials and strategies to maintain data in the future.
There will also be a creation of Bill of Material, design implementation of Material/Service/Vendor & Customer Cataloging template and SOP, Methodology to Analyze risk pooling and correction of duplicates that impact the inventory costs, and data Collection & validation and image capturing of 23,000 Materials.
