Primary purpose and function of this position

This position provides support for Global Finance, Procurement and other Corporate Function areas for Cloud and on premise systems in the landscape ensuring application availability and business continuity for relevant One of our client company businesses. The Sr. Manager, AMS Support for Corporate Functions deals mainly in the area of AP and Procurement role will ensure that all day-to-day operational activities in area of responsibility are carried out in a timely and reliable way. The candidate will continually measure the performance of the services provided by the Application under responsibility and its impact on business activities.

Major duties and responsibilities

  • Owns support and continuous enhancements of Corp Finance AP and Procurement area in the supported systems like Readsoft, OCR Invoices, Ariba, Concur, and other applications as designated.
  • Lead all minor enhancements in related activities globally in all supported sites.
  • Support the change processes required to implement revised operational and business systems with in responsibility.
  • Work closely with the business and IT stakholders management teams in FI AP, Porcurement and addition Corp area globally on all aspects of support related activities
  • Maintain excellent communications with the department, promote the sharing of knowledge, leading to improved business support
  • Supports resolution and testing off bug fixes in global and local interfaces
  • Suggest improvements in support process in order to enable better business satisfaction
  • Ensure quality services are performed to the agreed SLA by reporting and measurement
  • Actively support impact assessment process from functional perspective aligning business requirements, increase global template adherence, manage needed localizations and raise to COE team for any template change required.
  • Understand interdependencies and ensure integration with other E2E teams and global support tracks as well as inter dependent projects.
  • Lead/Manage Global AP & Procurement team both internal and external resources
  • Full management authority (performance review and planning, recruitment,development, pay directions, terminations,..) for the team members
  • Responsible for policy formation in his/her area of responsibility
  • Member of the Corp Function Applications Support Services Leadership team.

Education and Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree
  • Preferable Experience in SAP Readsoft implementations, support and maintenance – at least 5 years
  • Preferable Experience in Concur implementations, support and maintenance.
  • Experience in SAP FICO implementations, support and maintenance – at least 5 years
  • Experience of leading global IT teams – at least 3 years
  • Minimum of 7 years supporting or doing projects with SAP
  • At least 3 years Application Service Management experience related to ERP systems
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in Information Technology IT department
  • Pharmaceuticals industry experience and knowledge a plus
