Cataloguing & Codification of materials to NATO standard

Challenges

  • The number of quarantine items in the warehouse is increasing because they do not comply with Industrial Standard Catalog (UNSPSC, NATO, and MESC).
  • There is a risk of duplication when classifications are not properly defined.
  • Manually creating items is necessary, and using other resources such as websites and third-party applications will be helpful.
  • It takes more than 45 minutes to create a complete item catalogue that complies with industry standards.
  • Manpower is needed to create, process, and quality check the catalogue.

Methodology for Client

  • Step 1: Source Data manipulation & Scrubbing
  • Step 2: Review & Classification
  • Step 3: Electronic Data Verification
  • Step 4: Physical item verification & Enrichment
  • Step 5: NATO Codification & Enrichment (NMCRL)
  • Step 6: Internal QA/QC
  • Step 7: Client QA/QC
  • Step 8: De-duplication
  • Step 9: Upload to Live System
