S-CHEM is one of the pioneering companies in the Petrochemical industry helping in the development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located in the Saudi Jubail industrial area.
Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP), Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP), and Saudi Polymers Company (SPCo) are collectively known as S-Chem. Their products include Benzene, Cyclohexane, Ethylene, Propylene, Styrene, and Gasoline blendstock.
Recently, S-CHEM has awarded an esteemed project to Coda Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd, Chennai through its Saudi office V-Tech Coda for material master data standardization of stock and non-stock items along with the physical verification, and digital imaging of stock items.
With this project, S-CHEM is expecting to cover a hybrid mode of operations to make their procurement process facile and produce effective material master data.
Codasol’s involvement in making S-CHEM’s material data will further be effective in their technical evaluation process. The operation of the on-site team will include photographing the stock items and inventory reconciliation. Coda will further use this data to report and display any out-of-synch stock balances in the system.
Parallelly, the off-site team will make use of the AI algo to find out duplication and then using PROSOL, the master management tool of Coda, the data will be cleansed. Coda will also provide web enrichment and UNSPSC codification of stock and non-stock items. Physical verification data enrichment is also to be done for stock items off-site.
The project will assure and impart S-CHEM in identifying the gaps, ensuring they are managed by collecting the needed data and doing physical verification of the same.
